Olivia Alderton

Olivia graduated from the University of Bristol in 2017. After initially planning to be a farm animal vet, she had a complete change of heart at the last moment and decided to work with small animals..and has never looked back! After graduating, she first worked in a small animal hospital in Shropshire, before moving down to Bournemouth in 2020 to be nearer her family and the Sea.

At work, Olivia relishes all aspects of veterinary medicine and enjoys working with every species. She loves being a well-rounded GP, developing skills in all areas. Most recently she has obtained a qualification in Veterinary Acupuncture which she hopes to put to good use on her lovely patients.

When not at work, Olivia can be found reading, running or yoga-ing, and better getting to know the beautiful Dorset coast with her husband Alex and Greyhound ‘Puck’. Olivia and Alex also like to sail, and are hoping to get a boat in the not too distant future.
