BVetMed (Hons) PGCert (SART) MRCVS
Louise joined Vets2You and Natterjacks in May 2018, and spends her time between the mobile practice and the surgery in Boscombe.
After graduating from the Royal Veterinary College in 2010, she spent 7.5 years in small animal practice in the New Forest, before joining the Natterjacks team. After developing an interest in the holistic care of older patients, she completed a post-graduate certificate in small animal rehabilitation, and a further qualification on veterinary acupuncture.
This means she can provide an all-round service for rehabilitation, including physiotherapy and pain relief management.
The move to mobile work is particularly useful for our older or less mobile patients for whom the journey tothe practice can be more difficult, and means we can have an in-depth consultation for these patients all in the comfort of their own home. She also has an interest in nutrition, and loves meeting and getting to know lots of new patients and their human parents!
Louise lives in Bournemouth with her partner Tom, and a very naughty black cat called Kiwi, who she rescued at 6 months old. Outside of work she plays the flute in a local concert band, and is a keen cook, often trying out new and adventurous recipes on family and friends alike. She also enjoys a trip down the beach when the weather allows!
