Guy Edgelow

guy1

Originally from London, Guy first met Andy at university whilst studying at Bristol Vet School where they were housemates for 4 years. He qualified as a vet in 2003 and then spent several months travelling around Vietnam and Thailand and whilst there spent some time at a volunteer clinic, neutering stray dogs, as well as learning to scuba dive. On his return he took his first job in Birmingham before moving to the South Coast after succumbing to the charms of the area whilst visiting as a student.  He worked alongside Andy at Priory Vets treating not only companion animals but also farm animals and horses. After gaining further experience at several other practices in the Bournemouth area, Guy decided to join Andy and become part of the Natterjacks team in May 2013.

Guy lives in Southbourne with his wife Nikki (who is a veterinary nurse) and their young daughter Sophie.  Their family also includes Pickles, a very naughty epileptic labrador, a very laid-back cat called Reggie, 2 bunnies Moo and Roo and several tropical fish!

Guy is highly accredited for his abilities as a soft tissue surgeon and has interests in a large number of areas of medicine including endocrinology and dermatology.

When not at the practice or attending to domestic responsibilities, Guy enjoys going for long walks in the New Forest with Pickles, enjoying a good pint and joining Andy for the occasional fishing trip.
