Steph joined us in July with the opening of the new surgery in Poole 2016. Steph had previously worked in customer service for five years and for five years prior to that as a yard hand and instructor at a riding stables. However after seeing work experience at a couple of veterinary practices, Steph realised that her passion was for animal care. Steph’s expertise in dealing with both people and animals as well as her cheery disposition has made her a popular addition to the team in Poole and in September 2017 she started her formal training to become a qualified veterinary nurse.
Steph enjoys keeping active and regularly participates in fundraising activities for charities. This has included a month long trip to Kenya to assist with community and wildlife projects as well as a sponsored climb of Mount Kenya. She has also run the Race For Life twice, walked the Sarsen trail and spent a summer volunteering at the Greatwood Horse sanctuary.
Steph also enjoys going to the theatre, painting, reading and is still a keen and accomplished horse rider.
