Kim Powell
Kim grew up in Corfe Mullen and qualified in 2008 after training at Lynwood Veterinary Group in Wimborne. She then worked at Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists acquiring experience in referral work before leaving to work in a dedicated out-of-hours centre in Poole dealing with night-time and weekend emergencies where she worked towards gaining a certificate in Emergency and Critical Care.
Kim joined Natterjacks in November 2013 after missing general practice work and a desire to return to the land-of-the-living after a lengthy spell of working night shifts! Kim and her husband Steve share their home in Merley with a rescued Springer Spaniel called Merlin (who comes to work with Kim) and Mario the cat, a young tabby brought into us as a stray during lockdown. When not at work Kim enjoys running and paddleboarding.
