Sophie Melville – Reception and Client Care

Sophie grew up in Highcliffe attending primary and secondary school there. She went on to study Art, Photography and Media Studies A-levels at sixth form, which progressed to achieving a degree in Make-Up for Media and Performance at Arts Bournemouth University.  Sophie carried on her love of make-up through working on different events and films.

Sophie has always worked with the public through waitressing at local cafes and restaurants for several years but decided to look for a new career path altogether. And that is when she found Natterjacks! Sophie joined Natterjacks in February 2018 as a receptionist and is enjoying every moment, working alongside the lovely team and of course the variety of pets she meets. She has always had a love for animals from a young age and could not be without her lurcher cross George who she got from the RSPCA at Ashley Heath.

1. The 3 things I would take on a desert island……Ipod for music, suncream (I burn ridiculously) and tons of sweets
2. When I was younger I wanted to be……A giraffe keeper
3. 3 famous people (dead or alive) I would invite to a dinner party……Micky Flanagan (for the comedy), Gordan Ramsey (he can cook) and Craig David (for the music)
4. My guilty pleasure….Knowing all the words to the whole film of Grease
5. What makes Natterjacks different……The staff are the kindest people I shall ever meet
6. My proudest ‘claim to fame’ or celebrity encounter….Applying make-up on Liam Neeson and making him cups of tea when filming at Pinewood Studios
7. Two things I consider myself to be very bad at…..I am not a morning person and saying yes to anything as I’ll feel bad saying no
8. Two things I consider myself to be very good at…Making prosthetic pieces, making tea
9. One thing that not many people know about me….I can lick the end of my nose
10. I was frightened for my life at work when… to follow!
11. My most annoying habit .…Biting my nails
12. The song I would perform in a Karaoke bar is… “You’re the one that I want” Grease
13. If I was forced to live anywhere else than the beautiful south coast of Dorset I would live…Australia
14. I you were to look in my fridge right now you would find…..Cheese, rack of ribs and lots of chocolate bars
15. My favourite place to go for dinner is….Any place that has an all you can eat buffet
16. If I won the lottery my first purchase would be….Another dog
17. One place I really want to visit before I die is….Africa – really want to go on a safari trip
18. My favourite holiday past-time is ….Australia – staying on a deserted island called Morton Island

20. My weirdest phobia is ….Clowns….
21. If I could swap lives with anyone for a day it would be….The Queen
