New faces, new friends and a wedding!

September 27th, 2014

After another busy summer season at Natterjacks we are excited to be able to introduce some new vet friends to the practice to help support our growing family! In line with our philosophy of providing a personal service and ensuring continuity only our nearest and dearest friends are trusted with the care of your loved ones.

As of this week we have been joined by Vicki Sanderson who will be working every Monday and Friday at Natterjacks. Vicki, Andy and Guy were all close friends at Bristol university and indeed Vicki and Andy’s partner Emily were housemates during university and for some years afterwards. Vicki now lives in Southbourne with her husband Luke and two young children, Alex and Georgie. Luke is our internet/website guru and has his own web consultancy in Southbourne – www.lukes.co.uk.

We are also pleased to be working alongside Andy Morris – yet another friend of Andy, Guy, Vicki and Emily from their class at Bristol University. Andy moved to Boscombe recently after many trips down to enjoy our beautiful coastline and brings additional expertise to our orthopaedic capabilities through his ‘Vetfix’ service (www.vetfix.co.uk) which is based at Natterjacks. Andy will be accepting referrals from other practices as well as extending the range of specialist procedures that we offer to our patients.

Finally, many of you will have met Andy Morris’ lovely fiancé Aoife Clancy who has been doing the odd day for us recently. Aoife will be joining the veterinary team on a permanent basis as of the middle of next month working the days that Vicki isn’t with us ensuring that we have three vets on hand at all times. Aoife is completing her certificate in Soft Tissue Surgery and will add another layer of expertise to our offerings. However by the time that Aoife joins the team she will be the new Mrs Morris as Andy and Aoife are off to Ireland next week to get married – good luck from all the Natterjacks team, we can’t wait for the party when they get back!

As for the nursing team, we are pleased to welcome Natasha who will be working Mondays and Fridays. Natasha is a very experienced veterinary nurse who has previously worked for Forest Vet Clinic in Fordingbridge and more recently Priory Vets in Christchurch. She is an old friend of the family and is a great addition to the team. We are also hoping to entice Charlotte back into the fold before too long as it’s about time she had a break from baby Finn!!

By only bringing trusted friends into the Natterjacks family you can have confidence that whoever you see at the surgery will treat your pet with the same care and devotion that has helped set us apart from other practices in the area. Having more vets on hand means we can offer more appointments when you need them, keep waiting times down and cope better with the growing number of emergencies that we see. However because we are such a uniquely close knit team and regularly discuss all of our patients at length we are also able to guarantee continuity of care and can use our collective skills and abilities to provide the highest standard of veterinary care at all times!
