What to do when your pet is unwell….

We know that our pets can become ill or suffer accidents at any time of day or night and this may happen outside of our normal opening hours.  However please do email us  at hellobournemouth@natterjacksvet.com or hellopoole@natterjacksvet.com and one of our lovely vets will get back to you with some advice during these times – including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.  These emails are checked periodically and though there may be a small delay please be patient and we will get back to you.

However in a real emergency, and during the wee small hours, please contact our out of hours providers (VetsNow) on 01202 859933 for advice or to make an appointment.  They are based at the PDSA clinic on Castle Lane, Bournemouth – please click here for directions.

There is also an excellent out of hours facility based in Parkstone, Poole which may be more convenient for some people and they can be contacted on 01202 382843 – click here for more information.

First Aid

Please download the following presentation for information on first aid – it is a slideshow of an educational talk that we have presented to various local clubs but the advice is applicable to all species and covers nearly every possible first aid situation that you are likely to encounter:
